Pastors Tom and Elizabeth Wirtz have been serving as the Lead Pastors of Freeland Assembly of God since April 2015. With over 15 years of ministry experience together, they’ve faithfully served in a variety of roles including youth leaders.

Pastor Tom is a Ordained Pastor through Assemblies of God Michigan School of Ministry and Pastors University. Pastor Elizabeth is a Certified Pastor with Assemblies of God Michigan School of Ministry.

Married for 30 years, they are proud parents of two adult sons, Kyle and Nick. Their family has expanded to include Kyle’s wife, Heather, and together they have blessed Tom and Elizabeth with two grandsons, Cameron and Max. Nick and his wife, Taylor, recently celebrated their first year of marriage.

Pastors Tom and Elizabeth are passionate and committed to leading the church to demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways, ensuring every soul is valued and has a place to belong.
